TermAI is an independent product. We build the tools we want for our own on-call rotations and side projects, then ship them.
Why mobile SSH
The desktop has good SSH clients. Your phone has not — until recently. But on-call doesn't wait for you to get to a laptop, and side-project servers need attention from wherever you are.
We started TermAI because we kept hitting the same wall: the existing mobile SSH apps treat mobile as a smaller desktop. The interaction model doesn't fit a thumb on a 6-inch screen. The AI assistants that everyone else has on the desktop aren't there when you're in the kitchen with a Slack alert.
Mobile-first means designing for one hand, one tab open, two minutes of attention. We make that work.
What we believe
Your keys stay on your device.
SSH private keys and passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore — the hardware-backed secure enclave. They never leave the device. Cloud sync, if you opt in, encrypts everything client-side with AES-256.
AI assists, doesn't act.
The AI helper suggests a command. You decide whether to run it. There is no auto-execute, no "let the agent fix it for you." You stay in control of every keystroke that hits your server.
Fair pricing, predictable bills.
$2.99/month for Pro. No usage-based AI fees that surprise you. No ads. No data resale. The free tier is generous enough that you can decide for yourself whether Pro is worth it.

TermAI is built by a small, independent team led by Chen Chen (founder). We respond directly to feedback — there is no support tier between you and the people writing the code.
